Code of Conduct
Ewe-Nique is a community-based organisation dedicated to providing Therapeutic Crochet & Knitting sessions for those living with Chronic Pain. Participation in the organisation is subject to the observance of these rules and procedures.
The activities outlined below are strictly prohibited.
Any member or volunteer who violates this Code is subject to discipline, up to and including removal from the Flock and associated social media groups.
- Abusive language towards a volunteer or another group participant.
- Possession or use of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs at Ewe-Nique meetings (unless held on licenced premises) or coming to meetings while under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol.
- Bringing dangerous or illegal materials such as explosives, firearms, weapons or other similar items.
- Discourtesy or rudeness to a fellow flock members, staff member or volunteer.
- Verbal, physical or visual harassment of another member, staff member or volunteer.
- Actual or threatened violence toward any individual or group.
- Conduct endangering the life, safety, health or well-being of others.
- Failure to follow any policy or procedure.
- Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any flock member.
- Failing to co-operate with the Flock Leaders to prevent issues arising. (Yolanda Barker & Vicky Oddell, Co-Chairs or any substitute authorised)
Each Flock Member must abide by the code of conduct described above and understand that you may be removed as a participant if you violate any of these codes.
